Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Nawala, Koswatta
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer who will oversee technical execution, project governance, and contractual compliance for our expanding portfolio of renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end technical cycle of renewable energy projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Lead the contract administration of the projects under FIDIC or similar standard forms of contract, ensuring strict compliance with scope, BOQ obligations, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary technical interface between the Head Office, site teams, and external consultants.
- Provide leadership in feasibility studies, site progress monitoring, and resource allocation.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BSc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering or construction.
- Proven experience in Contract Management (FIDIC or similar standard forms) is preferred.
- Experience in the renewable energy sector (specifically Hydropower) is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
Civil Engineer
Location: Nawala, Koswatta
Role Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Civil Engineer to support the planning, development, and feasibility stages of our renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new project locations for small hydropower projects.
- Coordinate with design engineers to finalize layouts and engineering drawings.
- Monitoring construction activities of renewable energy projects and tracking cost and time.
- Coordinate with various project consultants (structural engineering, geotechnical, hydrologist, environmental specialists, etc.).
- Prepare comprehensive feasibility study reports and progress reports for regulatory authorities.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BSc. in Civil Engineering.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering design and construction methodologies.
- Experience in the renewable energy sector (specifically Hydropower) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
