Are you an experienced cosmetics and personal care industry expert with a deep understanding of formulation, manufacturing, and Sri Lankan regulatory standards?

Key Scope & Responsibilities

• Business Advisory: Strategic and commercial guidance on establishing cosmetics operations.
• Product Formulation & Quality: Guidance on new product formulation, raw material sourcing, stability testing, product safety testing, and documentation.
• Regulatory Compliance: Guiding NMRA product registrations, manufacturing site requirements, ingredient selection, and allowable product claims.
• Quality Systems Certification: Guiding to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) / ISO 22716 standards certifications.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinating with management, production staff, regulatory bodies, and testing labs.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 20 years in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, or chemical industries.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in chemistry, cosmetic formulation, R&D, QA/QC, and technical operations.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with Sri Lankan NMRA requirements, product registration, and ISO 22716:2007 cosmetics GMP standards.
• Consulting & Leadership: Proven track record in stakeholder management, strategic consultation, and setting up business operations.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of English is a must. Proficiency in Tamil will be an added advantage.
