Senior Debt Recovery Specialist
Role Summary
Asian Group of Companies is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and challenging individual with a positive attitude to join our team as a Senior Recovery Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of the Recovery department.
- Attend in Courts and other Tribunals on behalf of the company.
- Oversee customer outstanding list, return cheques, and collection process.
- Issue collection notices for credit sales that are past due dates.
- Correspond for any customer payment disputes through the system.
- Make independent decisions, including follow-up on payment commitments.
- Make recommendations to management on agreements relating to necessary repayment schedules.
- Systematically record all daily collection activities.
- Formulate collection strategies to ensure timely customer repayments.
- Provide timely response to all customer inquiries.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in a reputed organization.
- Strong personality with professionalism.
- Good communication skills and good knowledge of English & Sinhala languages.
- A self-motivated, energetic, and passionate team player.
- Ability to adjust to multiple demands at work and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Previous experience in forces will be an added advantage.
- Colombo suburbs preferred.
