Senior Executive - E-commerce

Job Summary
The Senior Executive - E-commerce will be responsible for managing the e-commerce operations of Emerald and Crocodile Sri Lanka, driving online sales, improving customer experience, and ensuring both e-commerce platforms achieve their commercial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day e-commerce operations of both Emerald and Crocodile Sri Lanka.
- Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to drive online sales, revenue and profitability.
- Manage both e-commerce websites, ensuring products, pricing, promotions, content and inventory are accurately maintained.
- Plan and manage e-commerce campaigns, promotions, product launches and seasonal activations in line with brand and business objectives.
- Monitor website performance, sales, traffic, conversion rates, average order value and other key KPIs.
- Work closely with the brand teams to align e-commerce activities with brand strategies, campaigns and product priorities.
- Work closely with the Marketing, Digital, Creative, Merchandising, Sales and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of e-commerce initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve the online customer journey, website experience and conversion rates.
- Manage product listings, collections, banners, landing pages and promotional content across both websites.
- Work closely with the digital agency to plan and execute digital activities, track deliverables, follow up on timelines and ensure work is completed to the required standard.
- Conduct regular market research and market visits to understand customer behaviour, competitor activities, market trends and e-commerce opportunities.
- Conduct regular meetings with relevant internal teams and stakeholders to review ongoing activities, challenges, priorities and performance.
- Analyse customer behaviour, sales trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare regular e-commerce performance reports, forecasts and action plans for management.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with relevant teams to minimise out-of-stock situations and maximise product availability online.
- Ensure orders, deliveries, returns, exchanges and customer service processes are managed efficiently.
- Work with external agencies, technology partners and other e-commerce service providers when required.
- Continuously identify and implement new e-commerce tools, technologies and best practices to improve performance.
- Take ownership of achieving agreed e-commerce sales and profitability targets for both brands.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, Digital Marketing or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing or a similar role, with hands-on involvement in e-commerce operations.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, online merchandising, digital marketing and customer journey.
- Experience managing an e-commerce platform and working with CMS/e-commerce tools.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to interpret
