Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Senior Finance Manager

Role Summary

Prominent Label & Packaging company located in the Homagama region. Industry: Manufacturing / Apparel / Labels.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka or equivalent (CIMA/ACCA).
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience in manufacturing industry with a minimum of 3 years in a senior managerial capacity handling the finance function.
  • Ability to partner with business teams and drive strategic financial insights.
  • Capable in promoting process improvement, forecasting, corporate finance, developing budgets and financial skills.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing sector (preferably apparel / labels / exports) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, and analysis of the company.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships (including import/export financing).
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthening internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support business expansion and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise finance team performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and key stakeholders.
  • Overlooking Credit Control functions.

Senior Accountant

Role Summary

Prominent Label & Packaging company located in the Homagama region. Industry: Manufacturing / Apparel / Labels.

Requirements

  • Part qualification or in CA / ACCA / CIMA.
  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in manufacturing or apparel sector will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month end account finalization & prepare monthly management accounts.
  • Complete the balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Monitor accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with budgeting, cash flow, and cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support audit activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.
