Key Responsibilities

• Maintained the general ledger, accounting records, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
• Prepared monthly management accounts, providing timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making.
• Preparation of a Consolidated financial Statement.
• Support the annual budgeting process by preparing budget schedules, coordinating with Business Unit Heads.
• Prepare the MIS report as requested by management to gather relevant financial information.
• Reviewed major expense categories to identify cost drivers, assess control gaps, and report findings to management.
• Manage monthly tax schedules and quarterly return filings.
• Liaise with external parties such as IRD, external auditors, internal auditors, banks, etc.
• Coordinate the external audit process, including preparation of audit schedules, supporting documents, and annual report disclosures.
• Engagement in Operational Finance Functions.

Key Requirements

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or related field from a recognized university.
• Full or part qualification in CA, ACCA or CIMA.
• 4 - 6 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Previous experience in consolidation is an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in MS package, Power BI and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skill in English.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Ja-Ela area.
