Senior Executive - Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records for multiple hotels.
• Support month/year-end closing, financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with hotel teams to monitor performance, identify trends, and support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Conduct periodic audits and reviews of financial processes and controls.
• Assist with tax compliance and ad hoc financial analysis.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting / Finance (CA/CIMA part qualification preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting/finance, ideally in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel extensively within and outside Sri Lanka.
