We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager Finance to join our senior finance leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the Company and its group of companies, spanning financial feasibility, corporate finance, treasury, tax planning, and Group-wide financial reporting and controls, while providing strong functional leadership to the wider finance team.

Candidate Role...

  • Act as a key member of the finance leadership team, deputising for the CFO and mentoring a high-performing finance function across the Group.
  • Support the CFO and Board with data-driven financial insight, business cases, and strategic recommendations on investments and initiatives.
  • Lead financial feasibility studies, investment appraisals, and financial modelling for real estate projects and business ventures.
  • Support debt and equity fundraising, banking relationships, and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Oversee Group-wide treasury management, liquidity, funding, and financial risk.
  • Drive tax planning and ensure full compliance with the Inland Revenue Act and BOI regulations.
  • Oversee financial systems, internal controls, and statutory/internal audit processes across the Group.
  • Lead the Annual Report and Sustainability Reporting (SLFRS S1 & S2) processes.
  • Provide oversight of day-to-day Group finance operations, budgeting, and reporting standards.

Candidate Profile...

  • Professional qualification in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA, with a relevant Bachelor's degree; an MBA or Master's degree will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a listed company or group structure.
  • Proven track record in corporate finance, treasury management, tax planning, financial feasibility, and financial reporting/audit, preferably in real estate or a capital-intensive industry.
  • Sound knowledge of the Inland Revenue Act, BOI regulations, and SLFRS/IFRS, with strong financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to support the CFO in engaging the CEO, Board, and external parties.
