Senior Financial Accountant

Role Summary

Indoscan (Pvt) Ltd, a front line pharmaceutical company engaged in imports, marketing, and distribution, is seeking a Senior Accountant to report directly to the Managing Director / CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting functions of the company.
• Prepare management and final financial statements.
• Prepare monthly cash flow statements.
• Monitor product costing.
• Prepare annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial systems.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead the finance team.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Part or fully qualified in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting.
• Sound knowledge and experience in handling tax matters.
• Competence in ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent IT literacy.
