Role Summary

A well-established and diversified group of companies involved in Real Estate Development, Property Management, Hospitality, Events, and Lifestyle Businesses is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and commercially driven professional to join our leadership team as a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate should possess strong financial management capabilities, commercial acumen, and the ability to oversee the financial operations of multiple companies within the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full finance and accounting functions of the group companies
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and government authorities
• Monitor and improve internal controls and financial processes
• Handle VAT, Income Tax, PAYE, EPF/ETF, and other statutory obligations
• Supervise finance and accounting staff across the group
• Support management with strategic financial advice and business planning
• Assist with project feasibility studies, investments, and expansion initiatives

Requirements

• Fully qualified in CA Sri Lanka / CIMA
• Degree is an added advantage
• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple entities simultaneously
