Senior Accountant

Role Summary

The Komar Brands finance team is seeking an Accountant to work accurately on day-to-day financials. The role requires working remotely on USA hours with flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile inventory data between Scale and Blue Cherry systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries related to KDS fees and other relevant accounts.
• Review, reconcile, and process 3PL billing statements; investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, and IT to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve reconciliation processes.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to inventory and 3PL transactions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in accounting processes and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in inventory accounting or supply chain-focused roles.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Blue Cherry and/or Scale, is highly preferred.
• Experience working with 3PLs or in the apparel/retail/manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with inventory costing methods and variance analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
