Senior Finance Executive

Role Summary

The Senior Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial control functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SLFRS/LKAS).
• Reconcile with general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary schedules and documentation.
• Support in managing payments, fund transfers, and investment placements.
• Ensure timely settlement of statutory obligations and maintain tax records.
• Liaise with other departments such as Credit, Risk, Operations, and HR on finance-related matters.

Requirements/Qualifications

• A Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Part qualification from a professional accounting body (CASL/ ACCA etc.).
• At least 5 - 6 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
• Proficiency in financial forecasting and analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office package.
• Any experience with SAP would be an added advantage.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Display very good problem solving, communication and better understanding of regulations relevant to the finance industry.
