Senior Flutter Developer

Role Summary

BISTEC is seeking a highly skilled developer to join a mobile development initiative for a UK-based transport technology client. In this role, you will assist in transitioning a collection of native iOS and Android applications into a unified Flutter codebase, playing a key part in defining the technical architecture for the broader engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality production applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate on defining the architecture, module organization, and state management strategies for a multi-app codebase.
• Implement features including REST API integration, authentication, and offline synchronization capabilities.
• Maintain code quality through unit, widget, and integration testing while managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Handle the deployment and maintenance of applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Engage directly with the client's engineering team during UK-aligned working hours.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years in mobile development, including at least 3 years of professional experience with Flutter and Dart.
• A proven track record of publishing mobile applications to major app stores.
• Deep understanding of Flutter architecture and various state management solutions.
• Proficiency in mobile CI/CD processes and a strong commitment to testing.
• Excellent English communication skills for client-facing interactions.

Bonus Skills: Experience with native development (Swift or Kotlin), migration projects, platform channels, Bluetooth, location services, or working with European clients.
