Executive - Garment Technology

Location: Kandy

Key Responsibilities

• Study and understand customer requirements, including concept sketches, specifications and tech packs.
• Develop production feasible products and ensure smooth sampling to bulk production.
• Attend fit sessions and evaluate sample quality and measurements.
• Coordinate with customers, factory teams and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct risk analysis, pre-production and other product development meetings.

Person Specifications

• A Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Textile & Clothing or Garment Technology.
• 3 – 6 years' experience in a similar capacity (lingerie experience is an added advantage).
• Knowledge in pattern making/grading and sewing will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and a positive attitude.

Pattern Maker

Location: Kandy

Key Responsibilities

• Create, interpret and modify patterns based on design specifications and customer requirements.
• Attend fit sessions (online and physical) and make necessary amendments.
• Prepare production patterns and ensure accuracy for bulk production.
• Work closely with designers, merchandisers and factory teams to resolve fit or pattern-related issues.
• Evaluate sample quality and measurements, and support sampling and costings within timelines.

Person Specifications

• Diploma or professional certification in Pattern Making and Grading (or a related field).
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Pattern Maker in the apparel industry.
• Proficiency in manual and CAD systems (Gerber/Lectra).
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, sizing, grading and fit standards.
• Good communication, organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in bra pattern development and grading will be considered an added advantage.
