Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to hospital leadership, Heads of Departments and functional managers, providing professional advice on people and organizational matters.
- Translate business and departmental objectives into effective HR strategies, workforce plans and policies.
- Partner with managers on employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, performance issues and conflict resolution.
- Provide guidance on employment practices and ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labour laws and organizational policies.
- Drive effective performance management processes and support managers in setting objectives, evaluating and addressing performance gaps.
- Identify organizational capability gaps and partner with Learning & Development teams to implement targeted development programmes.
- Work closely with Payroll, Finance and HR Operations to ensure accurate and effective implementation of employee-related processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with employees and management while promoting a positive, ethical and high-performance workplace culture.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification in HR such as CIPM or an equivalent recognized qualification will be an advantage.
- 3 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial exposure to HR Business Partnering, HR Generalist or HR Operations.
- Experience in a Executive role with demonstrated ability to independently handle complex HR matters.
- Prior experience in the hospital, healthcare, pharmaceutical or service industry will be advantageous.
- Ability to interpret HR data and use HR analytics and dashboards to support management decisions.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS and Sri Lankan labour legislation, employee relations and HR best practices.
