Senior HR Executive

Role Summary

LNBTI Japanese IT University invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Senior HR Executive. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting both the strategic and administrative functions of the Human Resources Department.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Functions

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the institution’s vision and organisational objectives.
  • Lead talent acquisition, employee retention and succession-planning initiatives.
  • Manage performance evaluations, KPI setting and staff appraisal processes.
  • Support organisational development, employee engagement and workplace culture-building initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to design and deliver staff training and development programmes.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable labour laws and recognised best practices.

Administrative HR Functions

  • Maintain employee records, personnel files, attendance information and payroll-related documentation.
  • Manage employment contracts, onboarding, confirmation, transfers and employee exit processes.
  • Ensure the efficient administration of office and HR-related activities.
  • Coordinate staff welfare initiatives and assist with employee grievance handling.
  • Prepare HR reports, conduct data analysis and maintain HRIS records.
  • Draft official correspondence, reports, presentations and other HR-related documents.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Two to five years of relevant HR experience, including exposure to both strategic and administrative HR functions.
  • Sound knowledge of labour laws, HR compliance requirements and recognised HR practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple responsibilities, work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous experience working with an HRIS will be considered an added advantage.
