Senior Lead of Employee and Industrial Relations
Role Summary
The Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC is seeking a Senior Manager - Employee Relations and Industrial Relations to report directly to the Group Chief Human Resources Officer. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving industrial relations, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage employee and industrial relations matters to promote a positive and compliant work environment.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and dispute resolution in a fair and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Develop and implement IR policies and procedures to minimize risks and enhance organizational harmony.
- Build strong relationships with employees, unions, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A recognized qualification in Industrial Relations is an added advantage.
- Minimum of five years’ senior management experience in employee relations and industrial relations.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and fluency in both English and Sinhala.
