Senior Lecturer and Probationary Lecturer

Role Summary

SAB Campus, the academic arm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, is seeking passionate and driven professionals for the BSc in Applied Accounting General/Honours Degree Programme (Accounting & Finance).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct lectures and academic activities related to the degree programme.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic research activities.
• Support student learning, mentoring, and academic guidance.
• Participate in faculty and institutional development initiatives.
• Maintain academic excellence and contribute to continuous improvement of the programme.

Requirements/Qualifications

Lecturer (Probationary)

• A Special Degree in the relevant field with First or Second Class (Upper/Lower Division) from a UGC-recognised university or higher educational institute in Sri Lanka or overseas.
• Holding a Master's Degree and Membership in a recognised professional body will be considered added advantages.

Senior Lecturer

• A Special Degree in the relevant field with First or Second Class (Upper/Lower Division) from a UGC-recognised university or higher educational institute in Sri Lanka or overseas.
• A two-year Master's Degree in the relevant field with a research component from a UGC-recognised university or higher educational institute in Sri Lanka or overseas.
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in teaching at a UGC-recognised university/higher educational institute or industry experience in the relevant field in a managerial capacity.
• A Doctoral Degree and Membership from a recognised professional body will be considered added advantages.
