SENIOR EXECUTIVE LEGAL & COMPLIANCE-(Hospital)

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of corporate and commercial contracts, agreements, MOUs, and related correspondence.
• Support litigation and dispute resolution processes, including representing the organization in courts and regulatory matters.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of internal policies and procedures.
• Conduct legal research, prepare detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations to Senior Management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
• Oversee intellectual property matters, ensuring proper legal protection and compliance.

Requirements

• Attorney-at-Law & Notary Public; LL.B required; Master’s degree in law or related fields is an added advantage.
• 3-5 years post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in the corporate sector in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of company and commercial law, IP, conveyancing, and litigation procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Strong contract negotiation, legal research, compliance management, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently under deadlines.
