Job Profile

The Senior Executive – Legal will support the Group's legal function by providing advice on corporate and commercial matters, preparing legal documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting business units with day-to-day legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and legal documents.
• Provide legal support on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Assist with corporate governance and statutory compliance.
• Conduct legal research and due diligence for transactions and projects.
• Support the management of external legal counsel and regulatory matters.
• Maintain legal policies, contract templates, and document repositories.
• Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• LLB or equivalent from a recognised university.
• Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
• 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Exposure to commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal research.
• Prior in-house or reputed law firm experience will be an advantage.
