Role Summary
Nawaloka Hospitals PLC is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Logistics to manage and optimize logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely procurement, efficient inventory control, vendor management, and the smooth distribution of goods and services to support uninterrupted hospital operations.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain operations. Hospital experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement processes, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certifications such as CILT or CSCP will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee logistics and supply chain operations.
- Manage procurement activities, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock control.
- Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services to all departments.
- Coordinate with departments to forecast demand and manage supplies efficiently.
- Identify process improvements to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on logistics performance.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Lead, guide, and develop the logistics team.
