Senior Executive | Executive - Maintenance

Role Summary

LAUGFS Corporation (Rubber) Ltd. operates a large manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka, specializing in the production of solid, press-on, resilient, skid-steer, and custom-designed tyres for international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out machine breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance activities with accurate documentation.
• Prepare, update, and maintain engineering drawings.
• Coordinate material and service requisitions with Engineering Stores.
• Support new product implementation and maintain relevant records.
• Liaise with external service providers and contractors.
• Design, implement, and support machine modifications to enhance performance, efficiency, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Train and develop team members while promoting 5S practices.
• Support cost control initiatives and conduct Process FMEA to mitigate operational risks.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma from a recognized university or technical institute.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Sound knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance.
• General knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and steel fabrication.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and people management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in LEAN Management and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is an added advantage.
