Senior Manager - Technology Governance & Assurance

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to join our Information Technology team as Senior Manager - Technology Governance & Assurance.
This is a critical leadership role that will drive technology governance, strengthen operational resilience, enhance technology risk oversight, and provide independent assurance across the Bank's technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing and continuously enhancing technology governance practices across the IT Division
- Providing independent assurance and oversight for major technology initiatives and implementations
- Driving compliance with regulatory requirements, including the CBSL Technology Risk Management and Operational Resilience Framework
- Monitoring technology changes across applications, databases, operating systems, middleware, cloud environments, networks, and security infrastructure
- Overseeing Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) governance processes
- Coordinating with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, External Audit, and regulatory bodies on technology governance matters
- Driving operational resilience, recovery governance, and resilience testing frameworks
- Developing executive dashboards and governance reports for senior management, Board committees, and regulatory bodies
- Detecting, investigating, and escalating unauthorized or high-risk technology changes and security events
- Ensuring adherence to the Bank's Change Management, Release Management, and Deployment Frameworks
- Supporting the CIO with strategic technology risk intelligence, governance reporting, and assurance insights
Requirements/Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline
- A Master's Degree will be an advantage
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, ITIL, or equivalent
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 5 years in Technology Governance, Technology Risk, Information Security, IT Audit, Enterprise Architecture, or Infrastructure Management
- Experience in the banking or financial services sector will be highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and governance requirements applicable to commercial banking
