Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payrolls of various clients accurately, efficiently and within designated deadlines in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Reconcile and correct payroll discrepancies and errors prior to submission to the client.
  • Compile annual statements and schedules for year-end APIT return filings.
  • Verification of statutory payment schedules and generate online payments.
  • Professionally handle payroll-related queries and coordinate smoothly with client representatives.
  • Ensure the absolute confidentiality and accuracy of all payroll information.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Qualified / part qualified in Human Resource Management, Accounting or Finance.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in managing the complete payroll process, preferably within a BPO company or an accountancy firm.
  • Comprehensive understanding of payroll procedures and statutory compliance, including EPF/ETF, PAYE, and Sri Lankan labor regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Excel capabilities along with competency in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Highly motivated, independent with a strong sense of commitment and attention to detail along with the capability to identify errors quickly in complex datasets.
  • Age below 35 years.
