Senior Relationship Officers - Private Banking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new high-net-worth and affluent clients through referrals, networking, and strategic business partnerships.
  • Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth clients by offering tailored banking, investment, and wealth management solutions.
  • Drive achievement of both Private Banking business targets through proactive client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Promote, cross-sell, and upsell the Bank's products and services, including deposits, investments, cards, lending solutions, and insurance products.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through consistent, professional, and personalized client engagement.
  • Monitor customer transactions and promptly identify, escalate, and report any unusual activities in compliance with AML and KYC requirements.
  • Support branch compliance reviews, internal control procedures, and audit readiness initiatives.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, operational procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Plan and coordinate client engagement activities, promotional campaigns, and networking events to strengthen customer relationships and enhance the Bank's brand presence.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Full or part professional qualification in Banking, Retail Banking, Credit Management, or a related discipline.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Banking, or a related field from a recognised university will be a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in the banking industry, preferably in Private Banking, Priority Banking, Wealth Management, or Relationship Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and servicing High-Net-Worth (HNW) or affluent customer segments is essential.
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills, with a proven track record of growing client portfolios and achieving sales targets.
  • Sound knowledge of banking products, investment solutions, and wealth management practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with a strong command of English.
  • An outgoing, customer-focused, and results-driven personality with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and digital banking platforms.
