Senior Purchasing Executive (Supermarket Sector)
Sirilak Super (Pvt) Ltd, a fast-growing group with interests in retailing, real estate, and imports, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Purchasing Executive to join our team at the Koswatta, Battaramulla office.
The Role
As the Senior Purchasing Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Sourcing high-quality retail products at competitive prices
- Managing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors
- Maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring supply continuity
- Driving cost savings and value addition across all procurement activities
- Supporting the growth and profitability of our supermarket operations
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the supermarket / retail sector in a similar capacity.
- Education: Professional qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office/Computer literacy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Attributes: A self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to work extended hours when required.
- Age: Between 30 to 50 years.
