Senior Procurement Executive

Role Summary

Uswatte Confectionery Works (Pvt) Ltd. is one of the largest local food manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team in a fast-paced dynamic environment as we expand our business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CIPS (completed or partly qualified) would be an added advantage.
• 4-7 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a senior procurement role.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience in logistics, import/export coordination, or supply chain operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and sourcing strategies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to purchase order and delivery.
• Source and evaluate local and international suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and service agreements with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply and performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchases to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
• Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports for management approval.

An attractive remuneration package along with transport starting from Moratuwa/Kalutara/Horana/Anguruwatota to the office premises would be provided to the selected candidate.
