Senior Sales Manager – Cargo (Imports & Exports)
Australia Operations (Based in Sri Lanka)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage import and export cargo business for the Australian market
- Identify and acquire new customers, including freight forwarders, exporters, and importers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and overseas agents
- Achieve sales targets and revenue growth
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling
- Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close business deals
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Ensure compliance with international shipping, customs, and trade regulations
Requirements
- Ensure compliance with international shipping, customs, and trade regulations
- Strong knowledge of air and sea freight import/export operations
- Experience handling the Australian market is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and business development skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with international stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight management systems
