Key Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO strategy: Manage crawlability, indexability, site architecture, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
• Optimize for AI search surfaces: Improve visibility for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude through entity optimization, structured content, and semantic SEO.
• Partner with developers: Implement technical SEO improvements, including code reviews and deployment support.
• Conduct technical SEO audits: Utilize tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Semrush to prioritize fixes based on business impact.
• Develop and maintain Schema.org markup: Implement JSON-LD for rich results, knowledge panels, FAQs, products, articles, organizations, and local businesses.
• Monitor website health: Track crawl errors, index coverage, Core Web Vitals, and search performance to provide actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical SEO for medium to large websites.
• Strong understanding of search engine crawling, rendering, indexing, and ranking processes.
• Experience optimizing websites for AI-driven search and large language models (LLMs), including entity optimization and semantic search.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic Python for automation and SEO analysis.
• Experience with Schema.org, JSON-LD, structured data validation, and rich result optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals, PageSpeed optimization, mobile-first indexing, and JavaScript SEO.
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, and PageSpeed Insights.
• Experience using log file analysis and server-side SEO diagnostics.
