Senior Operations Manager - Security

Role Summary

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all operational activities of the security services business. This includes overseeing security personnel deployment, ensuring service quality, maintaining client relationships, managing compliance with Sri Lankan labor and security regulations, and achieving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the security services division.
• Plan, deploy, and supervise security officers at client locations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and operational audits.
• Handle client complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Monitor operational budgets and control costs.
• Investigate security incidents and submit detailed reports.
• Support business development by assisting with operational proposals and client onboarding.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' commissioned service in the Sri Lanka Army, Navy, or Air Force with the following minimum rank: Army - Brigadier, Navy - Commander, Air Force - Group Captain (or above).
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the security services or manpower outsourcing industry.
• Previous experience supervising large teams (750+ employees) is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple operational locations simultaneously and work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
