Senior Executive – Stores
Location: Angoda
Department: Stores | Stock Control
A leading Sri Lankan tea group is looking for an experienced stores professional to run a store day to day, with full accountability for accurate stock and records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, pick and issue stock against approved documents.
- Control stock by batch and expiry date, following FIFO and FEFO.
- Record every stock movement in the ERP on the same day, and keep Excel records up to date.
- Run regular and month-end stock counts, and explain differences.
- Report stock levels and slow-moving items so shortages are raised early.
- Keep the store clean, safe and organised to food safety standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience in stores or warehouse operations.
- Experience in tea, food, FMCG or export manufacturing is preferred.
- G.C.E. Advanced Level.
- Hands-on ERP experience and good working knowledge of Excel.
- Basic English for records and documents.
- Accurate, organised, disciplined and ready to take ownership.
