Senior Tax Executive

We are an accounting and corporate finance firm providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services to SMEs, landlords, sole traders and limited companies.

We are looking for a motivated Senior Tax Executive to join our team in Colombo on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our Tax Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Part-qualified or qualified ACCA / CIMA / CA Sri Lanka
• 2 to 4 years of experience in tax compliance, preferably within a big 4 accountancy practice
• Strong written and spoken English skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Must be prepared to work under pressure
• Good knowledge in MS Office (Especially MS Word and Excel)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare tax returns and supporting computations for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and companies.
• Review financial information and identify relevant adjustments required for tax compliance.
• Assist with payroll-related compliance work and other statutory filings
• Prepare and submit tax-related reports and supporting schedules.
• Respond to routine queries from tax authorities and other regulatory bodies.
• Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance deadlines are met
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to obtain information required for tax assignments.
• Assist with routine tax planning and advisory work.
• Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Support the team with other accounting, taxation, and compliance-related assignments as required
