Role Summary

Kandygs Handlooms is one of the pioneers of the Handloom Industry with over 50 years of experience in designing and manufacturing handloom home textiles and handicrafts. Our home grown Sri Lankan brand is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team.

Qualifications

• Male / Female & Age below 45 years
• Minimum - G.C.E Advanced Level
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the garment field with a focus on sewing
• Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, & quality control
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of sewing operators
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate sewing activities to ensure production targets and quality standards are met
• Monitor product quality and implement quality control measures
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Keep records of production and performance metrics
• Report to senior management, providing regular updates on progress and challenges
• Manage delivery timelines effectively, ensuring product and delivery targets are achieved
• Oversee the management of small manufacturing units and coordinate their activities
