Smart Infrastructure Engineer
ENGINEER – SMART INFRASTRUCTURE
Sumathi Information Technologies (Private) Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Sumathi Holdings, commenced business in the field of computer networking and data communication in 2001, offering total ICT solutions under one.
We are currently looking for a technically competent and experienced professional to implement, configure, maintain, and support Smart Infrastructure Solutions (ELV), including Structured Cabling, IoT and building management systems, Data Centre infrastructure, CCTV, and access control solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement, configure, maintain, and support Smart Infrastructure solutions according to customer and project requirements.
- Implement IoT devices, sensors, controllers, and smart building or building management solutions.
- Support the installation and maintenance of data center infrastructure, including racks, cabling, power, cooling, and related systems.
- Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance, video management, and access control systems.
- Conduct site surveys and coordinate with customers, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Carry out testing, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and preparation of technical documentation and service reports.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Electronics, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in networking, IoT, smart infrastructure, data center solutions, CCTV, or access control systems.
- Practical experience in implementing IoT, smart building, or building management solutions.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure, including racks, structured cabling, power systems, cooling systems, and related components.
- Experience in CCTV surveillance, IP cameras, video management systems, and access control solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, communication, customer-handling, and problem-solving skills.
