Role Summary

Musaeus College Primary invites applications from outstanding Neurodivergent Support educators to strengthen the transition and assimilation of children to expand early childhood expertise within the Primary team (Grade 1-5).

Key Responsibilities

Design and lead Individualised Learning Programmes (IEPs/ILPs).
Provide targeted small-group and 1:1 interventions in literacy, numeracy and executive functioning.
Work both within classrooms and through specialised sessions.
Play a critical role in early identification and screening (Grades 1-2).
Partner closely with teachers to embed inclusive teaching practices across the school.
Transform learning outcomes for neurodivergent students.
Build a systematic early identification framework.
Shape teacher capability across the institution.
Contribute to a whole-school culture of inclusion and excellence.
Teacher training and professional development.
Parent engagement and guidance.
Collaboration with educational psychologists and specialists.
Building systems that last beyond individual students.

Requirements/Qualifications

Degree in Education / Special Education / Psychology (or equivalent).
Recognised qualification in Special Education / Learning Support.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with primary-aged students.
Strong grounding in ADHD, ASD, dyslexia and inclusive pedagogy.
A structured, disciplined, and deeply empathetic approach to student support.
