Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable professional to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory and company regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support audit process.
  • Monitor expenses and control costs.
  • Assist in inventory valuation and stock reconciliations.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Part or fully qualified in CA, CIMA, ACCA or ICASL (or pursuing).

Experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a trading or spare parts company.
  • Experience in using accounting software and MS Excel is essential.
