Role Summary

Join our team and play a key role in ensuring safe, effective and quality pharmaceutical care for our patients.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university.
• Registration with the Sri Lanka Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
• 0-2 years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of drugs, dosage forms, drug interactions and pharmaceutical care.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and pharmacy management systems (an added advantage).

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure proper labeling.
• Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and safety.
• Counsel patients on the correct use of medicines and potential side effects.
• Maintain proper stock control, inventory and cold chain management.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations and hospital policies.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate pharmacy records.
• Collaborate with doctors and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
