Manager - Stores

Location: Bandaragama

ATIRE Pvt Ltd, a leading manufacturer of industrial solid tires for global markets, is seeking an experienced and proactive Manager - Stores to oversee its Raw Material, NPM and Finished Goods Stores. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, material handling, ERP systems, and team management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, warehouse efficiency, export dispatch coordination, and effective working-capital management while maintaining compliance with company, ISO, and safety standards.

Job Profile:

  • Manage Raw Material, NPM and Finished Goods Stores operations.
  • Ensure accurate and ERP inventory records and stock reconciliation.
  • Plan material requirements and ensure timely availability for uninterrupted production.
  • Monitor stock levels, purchase requirements, material shortages and inventory aging.
  • Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Finance, Quality, Sales and Logistics.
  • Plan and coordinate finished goods storage and export container dispatch.
  • Supervise Stores employees and associated labor, including manpower and productivity.
  • Ensure proper material identification, traceability, FIFO and segregation controls.
  • Ensure compliance with company, ISO, safety, ISO, 5S and internal controls.
  • Prepare inventory, stock, issuing and stores performance reports.
  • Drive improvements in warehouse efficiency, inventory turnover and working-capital utilization.

Person Profile:

  • Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, Inventory or Materials Management, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations and material planning.
  • Hand-on experience in ERP-based inventory management and stock reconciliation.
  • Experience managing Stores teams and coordinating with cross-functional departments.
  • Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and computerized inventory systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO, 5S, warehouse safety and internal controls will be an added advantage.
