IT Administrator

A reputed hotel chain in Oman is looking for a Senior IT Administrator to manage its IT activities for the hotels.

Manage hospitality property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS), OPERA, IDS, and finance software.
Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, telephony, and surveillance systems.
Coordinate with external IT service providers, negotiate maintenance contracts, negotiate and finalize Capex, and manage licenses.
Ensure adherence to data protection laws and hospitality industry IT standards.
Oversee hotel computer systems, servers, and networks to ensure uninterrupted operations; implement and monitor security measures to protect guest data and hotel operations.
Train staff on IT systems, provide technical support, and ensure user and guest needs are met.
Manage networking (LAN/WAN), server administration, cloud systems, and PMS/POS integration.
Responsible for day-to-day IT operations, systems support, and technology strategy for the hotel.
Manage website, email, social media, and booking channel manager software.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT management in the hospitality industry or a similar role.
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
Experience with IT budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving, communication, and customer service orientation.
Experience with Windows server management and Acronis Backup is essential.
Capability to work under pressure.
