Tax Compliance Specialist
Role Summary
Gamma Pizzakraft Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is the single franchisee for Pizza Hut and Taco Bell in Sri Lanka. We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team as an Executive - Tax Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit all statutory tax returns, schedules, and related tax computations accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) on all tax-related matters, including correspondence, assessments, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations and statutory deadlines.
- Maintain proper tax records and support documentation.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with the IRD RAMIS system will be an added advantage.
- Liaise with internal departments and external auditors on tax-related matters when required.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Qualified Tax Practitioner/Associate/Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Sri Lanka (CITSL) or another recognized professional taxation institute.
- Partial professional qualification in ICASL, CIMA, ACCA, or CMA will be an added advantage.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage tax-related assignments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
