Tax Division Associate

Role Summary

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) is seeking a passionate and driven professional to join the Tax Division. The successful candidate will embody responsibility, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with functions in relation to the Faculty of Taxation.
• Assist in organising seminars and workshops to raise awareness on taxation.
• Support the organisation of the annual budget seminar, tax oration, tax seminars, and Tax Faculty-related publications under the supervision of the Head of the Division.
• Assist in coordinating various programmes and courses related to the School of Taxation.

Requirements/Qualifications

• A degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Taxation from a recognised university, and/or part qualification from a recognised professional body.
• Minimum of 2 years�� post-qualifying experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of taxation would be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Clear understanding of processes and procedures.
• Ability to work to deadlines and deliver results.
