Team Leader - IT Operations

Role Summary

As the Team Leader for IT Operations, you will oversee the professional delivery of IT services to ensure they meet established Service Level Agreements and company standards. This leadership role focuses on maintaining a secure, high-performing, and dependable IT infrastructure through proactive management and team guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the resolution of IT incidents and service requests within required timeframes.
• Proactively monitor system logs and security alerts to mitigate potential risks.
• Maintain and oversee critical infrastructure, including networks, servers, and backup protocols.
• Supervise the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of various network components.
• Perform vulnerability scans and risk assessments to uphold system integrity.
• Ensure all operations align with data protection laws and group security policies.
• Liaise with regional teams to resolve compliance issues and audit findings.
• Handle vendor relationships, IT contracts, and procurement coordination.
• Mentor and lead the IT operations team toward achieving high performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT operations, specifically with servers, networks, and backup systems.
• Deep understanding of IT service management and system administration.
• Practical experience with firewalls (such as FortiGate, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint) and LAN/WAN environments.
• Proficiency in virtualization tools like Hyper-V or VMware.
• Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST or ISO 27001/2.
• Familiarity with IoT, ML, or OT technologies is considered a plus.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities to manage stakeholders effectively.
