Team Leader – Web Development (WordPress)

Role Summary

KD Marketing Group is seeking a skilled Team Leader for our Web Development department. In this capacity, you will direct a team of developers to produce high-quality WordPress solutions, ensuring all projects meet rigorous standards for security, speed, and user experience while coordinating closely with design and marketing departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor the WordPress development team, managing daily tasks and project schedules.
• Supervise the end-to-end lifecycle of website development, maintenance, and optimization.
• Perform code reviews to maintain high technical standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and SEO specialists to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Handle technical troubleshooting, website migrations, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Enhance team productivity by refining workflows and providing technical guidance to junior staff.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of professional experience in WordPress development, including 1 to 2 years in a leadership role.
• Deep technical proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in building custom themes/plugins and utilizing page builders like Elementor.
• Proven ability to transform Figma designs into responsive, mobile-optimized websites.
• Experience with version control (Git) and front-end frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple international projects in a remote setting.
