Tech Lead - AI

Role Summary

Orysys Limited is looking for a specialized Tech Lead - AI to drive the development and management of AI and Data Science initiatives. This position is centered on Model-Centric AI Engineering and MLOps, requiring the oversight of the entire lifecycle for AI applications deployed both on-premise and in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Architecting and deploying scalable, production-grade AI systems that meet business objectives across various environments.
• Vendor Management: Overseeing and validating the performance of AI models provided by third-party vendors.
• Team Leadership: Mentoring data scientists and ML engineers through technical guidance and code reviews during R&D and PoC phases.
• Engineering Excellence: Upholding rigorous standards for documentation, testing, version control, and reproducibility, with a specific focus on Explainable AI (XAI) and governance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in AI engineering, having previously held roles such as Senior Data Scientist or AI/ML Tech Lead.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a comparable field.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, alongside MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or SageMaker.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience within the financial sector is considered a plus.
• Leadership: Proven ability to mentor teams and integrate effectively into a corporate IT culture.
