Tech Lead - AI Solutions

Role Summary

Orysys Limited is seeking a Tech Lead for AI Solutions to act as a vital link between banking core systems, digital platforms, and sophisticated AI models. This position focuses on application-centric AI engineering, where you will design the API wrappers, event-driven architectures, and failover protocols required to integrate AI services into both modern Customer Data Platforms and on-premise legacy banking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Integration: Design scalable API layers and event-driven patterns to connect AI models and CDP systems with existing banking environments.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a technical liaison, converting business needs into functional integration designs for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Oversight: Oversee delivery timelines, task estimation, and vendor coordination to ensure AI use cases are successfully moved into production.
• System Reliability: Design security and fallback mechanisms to ensure AI integration does not negatively impact system latency or stability.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus at least 5 years of software engineering or integration experience, including 1+ years specifically in AI engineering.
• Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in large-scale application support and IT modernization within the enterprise banking sector.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Java/Spring Boot and Python; experience with API Gateways (Apigee/Kong), Message Brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS/GCP).
• Leadership: Strong ability to navigate corporate culture and the diplomatic skill to challenge vendor technical requirements when necessary.
