Role Summary

As Civil Technical Officer, you will support the Civil Engineer on site to successfully deliver civil construction projects, by assisting them with site supervision, quality assurance, progress monitoring, documentation and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Civil Engineer in supervising construction activities.
Monitor daily site work and report progress.
Check work quality and compliance with drawings and specifications.
Record site measurements and maintain construction records.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project staff.
Assist in material inspections and quantity verification.
Ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Requirements

Diploma: Diploma in Civil Engineering or National Diploma in Engineering (NDT) from a recognized institution.
Alternative: NVQ Level 4 or Level 5 in Civil Engineering may also be acceptable.
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in construction site supervision is preferred.
Skills: Good understanding of construction drawings, site measurements, and basic AutoCAD will be an advantage.
