Role Summary

Wayamba University of Sri Lanka is seeking a Technical Officer (Gr. II Segment “B”). The appointment begins as a Trainee Technical Officer for a three-year period.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory techniques and indenting.
• Maintain inventories.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English typing.
• Undergo a three-year training period leading to permanent appointment upon successful evaluation.

Qualifications

• Three passes in G.C.E. (Advanced Level) in Biological Science, Physical Science, or Technology streams in one sitting.
• At least one year of full-time formal training relevant to the post.
• Age limit: Not more than 45 years.
