Technical Officer - Telecom Projects Assistant Engineer
Vacancies for ASSISTANT ENGINEER / TECHNICAL OFFICER (Telecom Projects)
We are a publicly listed company with over four decades of experience in Telecommunication, Electrical, and Civil Engineering projects across Sri Lanka. We urgently require energetic Assistant Engineers / Technical Officers for our regional Telecom Project Offices at Maharagama, Kurunegala and Galle. Candidates who fulfil below requirements are invited to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise fiber cable laying (aerial / underground / duct / pole routes) at site
- Coordinate splicing, termination & testing activities
- Ability to understand project drawings, specifications & variations for execution
- Ensure installation follows drawings & BOQs
- Monitor subcontractors & field technicians at site
- Conduct site inspections & progress tracking
- Execute project plans, monitor progress, and liaise with clients for project completion & testing
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Professional Qualification from a recognized institution related to Telecommunication.
- 4+ years' experience in a similar capacity in the Telecommunication service field related to:
- Fiber Network Development (FTTH/OSP)
- Site management & monitoring
- workforce coordination
Skills & Competencies:
- Computer literacy (MS Office, network tools, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary/Benefits:
Salaries could be negotiated and agreed depending on the qualifications and the experience.
