Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain Solar PV plant equipment, including PV modules, inverters, transformers, LV/MV switchgear and SCADA systems.
• Carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance to ensure optimum plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Monitor site activities, including panel cleaning, vegetation control, contractor supervision and maintenance record keeping.
• Maintain daily logbooks and preventive maintenance records while supporting overall plant operations.

Requirements/Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in utility-scale Solar PV plants.
• Experience in Solar PV systems and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear.
• Computer literacy in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Good troubleshooting, communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
