Technical Officer

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of construction materials and costing
• Ability to use MS Excel and other relevant software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills (Sinhala & English)
• Having a valid driving licence will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
• Measure quantities and prepare material requirements
• Monitor project costs and budgets
• Handle billing, valuations, and payment certificates
• Coordinate with site engineers, suppliers, and contractors
• Ensure projects are completed within budget
